Keeping in the spirit of College Fest in Boston this past weekend, Benoit Bergeret, President and CEO of Qipit, and I shared our new PimpArt Facebook app with the many attendees. The theme for the event was “Party Like a Rock Star” , named for the Shop Boyz hit song and we did just that.

We had a blast. We met a ton of students and other smart people. We told them all about our two new apps on Facebook and our new group for students called Qipit Good! 

PimpArt is Qipit’s newest Facebook app.  PimpArt is a fun way to share photographed images in a hipper, more artistic format. PimpArt makes it possible for anyone to be an artist. Qipit NoteShare was our first app on FaceBook. It’s great for copying notes and sharing them online with your friends.

We talked about how the Qipit technology can replace faxes, scanners and copy machines making it the most advanced mobile document reproduction online service in existence. Qipit is free and fun and is the best product of its kind, without any real comparison, and that was a big selling point to the students.

Finally, we gave away an iPhone. iPhones work great with Qipit. We’re working hard to make every camera phone work as well and we’ll get there. Digital cameras are already perfect for using Qipit and with so many students documenting their lives on Facebook and MySpace, Qipit is the perfect way to make it fun and easy to do. 

So, use Qipit, and Party Like a Rock Star. We totally do.
