We may not be Stephen Colbert’s 1,000,000 Strong on Facebook just yet, but qipit is all over Facebook. Since I first wrote about qipit launching Qipit NoteShare, on Facebook, we have launched another app, improved Qipit NoteShare, and begun adding members to both of our Facebook groups. We strongly believe that we should be everywhere our audiences, and future audiences, already are.

We, at qipit, are convinced that as the camera phone technology is changing to meet the expectations of a growing population of digital natives. Qipit’s ability to improve upon and replace stationary scanners, copiers and faxes will be a natural for the Facebook generation.

Since launching Qipit NoteShare, a facebook app that allows you to scan notes with your digital camera or camera phone then share them with your friends, we’ve added Qipit PimpArt. Qipit PimpArt is a fun way to turn standard images into more artistic versions of the original. Try it with your Facebook profile. We think it’s pretty balla!

So if Stephen T. Colbert - television pundit, renaissance man, and Presidential candidate, sort of, is really serious about running, he needs a pimped out profile. We’ve taken the liberty of pimping one for him, and would like to suggest that, if he is really serious, he will officially pimp himself out immediately.

We also have two Facebook groups that we’ve started this year. Just Qipit! is aimed at professionals and consumers. Our other group is Qipit Good!, which is aimed at students and has already begun to grow. While we’re still small within the huge universe of Facebook users, we expect to grow significantly as word spreads about our technology and the ease of use for students with good camera phones.
